Neural Therapeutics Inc. (CSE:NURL), an ethnobotanical drug discovery company, announced on Monday that its shares have started trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ‘M6B’.
The listing is expected to expand Neural’s access to international investors and enhance liquidity, CEO Ian Campbell said in a statement.
"Listing our shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange will provide us with access to an expanded international investor audience, which we expect to lead to greater liquidity and an internationally diversified shareholder base as we continue to expand our operations," Campbell said.
The company also sees the Frankfurt listing as a strategic move ahead of its proposed acquisition of Hanf.com, a German-based cannabis retailer. Neural expects the listing to boost awareness of the Hanf.com brand among both consumers and investors.
Neural Therapeutics focuses on developing therapeutic drugs for mental illnesses related to substance use disorders, including alcohol and opioid dependence. Its approach involves using sub-hallucinogenic doses of mescaline extract to enhance safety and scalability while maintaining therapeutic efficacy.
The Frankfurt Stock Exchange, one of the world's largest trading platforms, handled C$2 trillion in transactions in 2024, offering global exposure while maintaining strong ties to Germany's 80 million-person market.
