Cybersecurity firm Smarttech247 Group PLC (AIM:S247) has landed a new four-year deal worth around €500,000 to expand its work with a major hospital in Ireland.
The contract is an extension to an existing agreement and will see the rollout of a new Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) system.
This will plug into the hospital’s current VisionX managed detection and response platform, providing real-time monitoring and quicker responses to potential cyber threats.
Smarttech247 said the upgrade would strengthen the hospital’s ability to protect patient data and key systems against increasingly complex security risks.
