Risers & Fallers: Berkeley Mineral, Bahamas Petroleum, Coal of Africa, TomCo, Transense, Tungsten

Below are some of the main news-driven share price changes at 9.15:

RISERS

Coal of Africa (LON:CZA), up 65.8%. The South African Department of Mineral Resources has granted the mining right for the company's flagship Makhado hard coking and thermal coal project in the Limpopo province.

Transense Technologies (LON:TRT), up 31.6%. The provider of sensor systems is developing new instrumentation applications using its core wireless, passive Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) measurement technology with US industrial holding company GE.

Bahamas Petroleum (LON:BPC), up 29.4%. Bahamas Petroleum has agreed upon the terms of a licence renewal addendum in relation to its four southern licences, that will see the terms of the licences extended to the second quarter of 2018.

FALLERS

TomCo Energy (LON:TOM), down 26.8%. The timeline for first oil from the EcoShale capsule being built by Red Leaf and Total has been set back, probably by two years. TomCo has licensed the EcoShale process from Red Leaf.

Berkeley Minerals (LON:BMR), down 16.7%. The stock is seeing some profit taking after a good run last week on the back of share purchases by the top brass.

Tungsten Corporation (LON:TUNG), down 14.2%. The shares continues to slide after the revelation last week that chief executive officer Edmund Truell would be moving on to a new role, vice chairman.
