Fineqia International Inc (CSE:FNQ, OTC:FNQQF) CEO Bundeep Singh Rangar talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the accelerating adoption of crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) globally. Rangar discussed the rapid growth in this sector, noting how approvals of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the US helped catalyse a surge from $40 billion to $120 billion in crypto ETP assets worldwide.
He emphasised that this shift marks “the beginning of something big,” pointing to increased institutional interest and growing accessibility for retail investors. Rangar also explained how yield-bearing ETPs are gaining traction, with 40 such products now live, half of which launched in the past year.
He detailed regional differences in adoption, saying Europe leads in second-generation products that incorporate staking yields, while jurisdictions like the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South America are showing signs of broader acceptance. “Let’s foster innovation and allow for these products to be listed, regulated, invested in,” Rangar stated, highlighting the irreversible role of crypto in asset management.
With regulatory clarity improving, traditional wealth managers may soon be able to include crypto ETPs in mainstream funds. Rangar concluded that those opting out of crypto risk missing an evolving financial future.
