Incanthera PLC (AQSE:INC) has reached a settlement over allegations of patent infringement linked to its Skin + Cell skincare range, clearing the way for the company to push ahead with its commercial plans.
The AQSE-listed firm, which develops technologies in dermatology and oncology, said a confidential settlement agreement had been finalised following detailed talks with a third party.
The deal confirms there has been no infringement and ensures no legal proceedings will be brought against the company in relation to the product.
The resolution provides legal certainty around the formulation of Skin + Cell and allows Incanthera to move forward with bringing the premium skincare line to market.
The company said it is currently in talks with several potential partners as it explores different strategies for launch, with global distribution a possibility.
