everplay jumps 15% on return to profit, confident outlook

Shares in Everplay Group Plc (LSE:EVPL) rose 15% on Wednesday after the video game developer and publisher reported a sharp rebound in profits and announced its maiden final dividend.

The company, formerly Team17 Group, posted a 46% rise in adjusted EBITDA to £43.5 million for the year to 31 December, driven by strong performance from key titles, double-digit back catalogue growth, and disciplined cost controls. Revenues rose 5% to £166.6 million.

Everplay highlighted strong momentum heading into 2025, with a pipeline of at least 10 new games and apps and trading expected to come in slightly ahead of expectations. It also proposed a final dividend of 2.7p per share.

The group ended the year with £62.9 million in cash, up 47%, and said it remains well-positioned to pursue organic growth, acquisitions, and further dividend payments under a new progressive policy.

In early trading, the stock was up 34p at 260p.
