Alternus Clean Energy Inc (NASDAQ:ALCE, OTC:ACLEW) said it currently has open client orders of nearly $6 million under its ongoing strategic partnership with Hover Energy.
The companies, which formed their partnership in August 2024, focus on next-generation microgrid solutions for data centers and corporate clients.
In a statement, Alternus said that deliveries are slated to begin in the second half of 2025.
Alternus and Hover are also working on a pipeline of microgrid projects exceeding 75 MW of capacity, targeting blue-chip global clients across the United States and the United Kingdom.
“The combination of skills and resources in this partnership is unmatched and will deliver previously unavailable solutions,” Alternus CEO Vincent Browne said.
“We envision a future where traditional grids connect seamlessly with hundreds, even thousands, of microgrids.”
The collaboration aims to offer innovative, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions, particularly for rapidly expanding “edge” data centers and corporate clients committed to achieving net-zero decarbonization goals. Hover Energy’s patented technologies, which include advanced wind generators and energy control systems, are a key component of the partnership’s offerings.
Turnkey solutions
Hover Energy CEO Chris Griffin emphasized the importance of the partnership, saying: “Companies require turnkey solutions to directly achieve tangible net-zero decarbonization goals. Our collaboration with Alternus means we can comprehensively design, build, and deliver those solutions.”
The partnership combines Hover’s cutting-edge microgrid technologies with Alternus’ expertise in independent power production operations and project financing, offering a zero-carbon energy supply that reduces dependence on traditional grid infrastructure.
The global microgrid market is expected to exceed $100 billion by 2032, growing at a compound annual rate of 20.5% from 2024.
