Blockmate Ventures Inc (TSX-V:MATE, OTCQB:MATEF) announced that its investee, Hivello Holdings, has activated 32,000 Solana Wallets following the launch of its first HVLO token airdrop.
The move is part of Hivello's strategy to increase participation in its decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) by simplifying the user experience.
Through the introduction of an "in-app wallet," Hivello allows nearly 32,000 newly onboarded users to receive airdrops, regardless of whether they previously owned a wallet.
The users are now earning passive income by integrating their idle computing resources into Hivello's ecosystem.
“Hivello has done a revolutionary job to simplify the process of Download, Mine, Earn, Withdraw/Stake such that anyone with an internet connection can do it," said Justin Rosenberg, CEO of Blockmate Ventures.
"This airdrop is an excellent way to introduce blockchain enthusiasts to Hivello so they can see how simple it is to start earning passive income.”
The successful airdrop comes as part of a broader growth strategy by Hivello, which has allocated 2.5 billion HVLO tokens over the next four years. These tokens will be used to drive participation, strengthen community engagement, and expand the adoption of DePIN mining within Hivello's platform.
'Pivotal moment'
With the integration of Solana wallets, users can manage their HVLO tokens and participate in decentralized finance through the Hivello app.
“This is a pivotal moment for Hivello and our growing community,” said Domenic Carosa, chairman and co-founder of Hivello.
“The launch of in-app Solana wallets and the first $HVLO airdrop are just the beginning of our efforts to incentivize early adopters and make decentralized technology more accessible. We’re excited to see our users actively engaging with DePIN networks and helping us refine our platform to optimize earnings for everyone.”
