JD Sports Fashion PLC (LSE:JD.) shares fell on Monday as Deutsche Bank cut its target price on the retailer on the back of the Nike earnings and conference call last week.
Cutting her target price from 95p to 85p, analyst Alison Lygo said Nike's release and commentary were "largely as expected".
The US sportwear giant reported continued lifestyle declines and more inventory clearance to come, though this will mostly be taken through the outlet and discount channels.
"Product innovation remains focussed on performance, and from what we can see, apparel innovation to date is going direct.
"Somewhat of a gap in JD's assortment remains."
