Prescient Therapeutics Ltd has appointed Dr Marissa Lim as Chief Medical Officer, effective March 24, 2025, as part of a strategic leadership transition. Dr Lim succeeds Dr Terrence Chew, who will remain with the company in an advisory capacity after a decade of guiding its clinical programs.
Dr Lim brings more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, with a proven track record in clinical development, regulatory affairs and the successful launch of haematology and oncology therapies. Her appointment comes as Prescient advances its pipeline of personalised cancer therapies, including lead candidate PTX-100, which is commencing a Phase 2 study in Cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL).
Developing PTX-100
Dr Lim will oversee the clinical development of PTX-100 as well as Prescient’s next-generation cell therapy platforms, OmniCAR and CellPryme. These platforms are designed to enhance the performance and adaptability of CAR-T therapies, representing a significant step forward in personalised cancer treatment.

Dr Lim has held senior roles at Vifor Pharma, Ipsen and Telix, and has served as chief medical officer and clinical advisor to several biotechnology companies. Her expertise spans clinical trial design, regulatory strategy and drug development across both emerging and established therapies.
