Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MU) shares moved higher after Thursday’s closing bell as the company’s fiscal second quarter earnings came in ahead of expectations.

Revenue for the period was $8.05 billion, up from $5.82 billion in the year-ago quarter and beating the Wall Street consensus of $7.9 billion.

Nano One Materials Corp (TSX:NANO, OTC:NNOMF) announced that it has received C$12.75 million in non-dilutive cash contributions from various government programs.

The funding is primarily a reimbursement for recent eligible project expenditures and supports the company's engineering, capacity expansion, demonstration, and commercialization efforts at its lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) plant in Québec.

Shares in PDD Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:PDD) fell 7% in premarket trading in New York after the Temu owner reported lower revenues than expected for the final quarter of last year.

The Shanghai-based tech conglomerate, which also has a base in Dublin, Ireland, reported total fourth-quarter revenues of RMB 110.6 billion (US$115.15 billion), an increase of 24% on a year earlier. This was well below the analyst consensus of RMB 115.4 billion, per data from LSEG.

Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA, ETR:NVD) stock was up 1.8% in after-hours trading and looked set for a strong open on Thursday after it shared plans to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in US-made chips and electronics over the next four years.

According to CEO Jensen Huang, via the Financial Times, the AI chipmaker expects to spend around $500 billion during this period, with a focus on expanding domestic manufacturing.
