Nvidia GTC Conference a 'wake-up call' for tech bulls, says investment bank

This week's Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA, ETR:NVD) GTC Conference is shaping up to be a wake-up call for tech investors.

Despite recent market jitters over Trump-era tariffs and economic uncertainty, analysts at Wedbush believe the event will refocus attention on the unstoppable force that is the AI revolution.

At the centre of it all is Nvidia and its CEO, Jensen Huang, often called the 'Godfather of AI', who is expected to unveil game-changing advancements in AI computing.

Wedbush sees Nvidia’s technology as the backbone of this fourth industrial revolution, comparing its chips to the 'new oil or gold' of the digital age.

Demand is off the charts, especially for Nvidia’s latest Blackwell chip, which enterprises are scrambling to integrate into their AI systems.

The upcoming conference will also shed light on next-gen developments, including quantum computing and advancements in robotics and autonomous technology - areas that could be the future of AI-driven industries.

Despite macroeconomic headwinds, Wedbush remains bullish on Nvidia and the broader AI sector, predicting a massive $2 trillion in capital investment over the next three years.

While some investors worry about potential regulatory changes, the analysts believe this won’t derail the AI boom. They argue that tech stocks, including Nvidia and Microsoft, still offer solid value given the scale of opportunities ahead.

Wedbush analysts liken this moment to past inflexion points in tech investing, drawing comparisons to early bets on Tesla, Apple, and Amazon.

While short-term fluctuations are inevitable, they believe Nvidia’s dominance in AI will drive long-term gains. With major AI spending ramping up, they see this week's GTC event as a pivotal moment, reinforcing why AI remains the defining growth story in tech for years to come.
