OptiBiotix Health PLC (AIM:OPTI, OTC:OPBXF) shares jumped 9% in early trading after reporting strong sales growth and a record start to 2025.
The company, which develops products to curb hunger and improve gut health, saw orders surge 56% in 2024, with sales in Q1 2025 already surpassing the entire first half of last year.
A major stock overhang from Covid-era inventory has now been cleared, which should boost margins in 2025. The company also secured a new distribution deal with global ingredients giant Brenntag, replacing its previous partner in Australia.
OptiBiotix is making big strides in the US and India. Its SlimBiome ingredient is selling well on Amazon, with subscriptions jumping 290%, while its partnership with Indian healthcare giant Morepen has delivered early success. Repeat orders from both markets have helped drive record-breaking early 2025 sales.

The stock rose 1.58p to 18.82p.
