Nvidia set to unveil AI and server demand insights at GTC Conference

Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA, ETR:NVD) is expected to provide investors with insights into its upcoming architectures at its GTC Conference, which kicks off on Tuesday.

Analysts at Wedbush expect to receive positive feedback about current supply and demand conditions for Nvidia’s GB200 systems.

Following concerns about the demand for GB200 systems earlier this year, recent data points suggest a positive shift in expectations, the analysts noted.

Nvidia is also expected to provide more details on the Blackwell Ultra and Rubin architectures.

“We are looking in particular for further information around the expected performance uplift from Nvidia's B300 parts, Rubin performance, and shifts to architecture outside of the GPUs to enable more powerful AI architectures,” analysts wrote.

Wedbush also anticipates Nvidia will make significant announcements regarding the integration of optics into its platforms, a move expected to influence its supply chain and technology partners.

While the AI server market has been less affected by tariffs so far, the enterprise sector has faced price increases in procurement, requiring businesses to adjust project quotes.

Tariff-related dynamics

The analysts will be seeking further insights into how tariff-related dynamics might impact deals and the overall supply chain.

“At the same time, we also believe enterprise deals have been affected and we will look for further color as to what extent such dynamics might delay or disrupt deals and create risk to expectations,” they wrote.

The analysts are also closely monitoring developments in the memory market, particularly how Blackwell delays have previously impacted memory fundamentals and how improved conditions could now benefit the sector.

They are also focused on updates regarding high-bandwidth memory, including Samsung's progress, given its importance to future AI infrastructure.

With memory and storage trends seen as a strong investment theme, this area is expected to draw significant attention during the conference, Wedbush believes.

Shares of Nvidia traded down 2.7% at about $118 on Monday afternoon ahead of the conference.
