Electric Royalties appoints Craig Lindsay as board chair

Electric Royalties Ltd (TSX-V:ELEC, OTC:ELECF) said on Monday that it has appointed junior mining veteran Craig Lindsay as Chair of the Board, succeeding Marchand Snyman.

Lindsay, an independent director since 2016, brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance and venture capital. He is the managing director of Arbutus Grove Capital Inc. and has held leadership roles at Otis Gold Corp. and Magnum Uranium Corp.

"I am pleased to take on this new role at a critical juncture for Electric Royalties," Lindsay said in a statement. "Metals like copper and graphite are increasingly recognized as strategic assets vital to national security."

Snyman, who served as Chair since 2020, said he was "excited to witness the continued success and growth" of the company.

CEO Brendan Yurik thanked Snyman for his role in expanding Electric Royalties' portfolio to 42 royalties and welcomed Lindsay to his new position.

At a recent shareholder meeting, Bob Schafer, Stefan Gleason, Brendan Yurik, and Craig Lindsay were re-elected as directors.
