Falcon Gold releases high-resolution drill core images showcasing mineralization at Great Burnt

Falcon Gold Corp (TSX-V:FG, OTC:FGLDF) has released high-resolution images from the first two drill holes from its 2024 exploration program at the Great Burnt copper-gold project in Newfoundland.

The images provide a detailed look at the core samples, showcasing promising geological characteristics and mineralization.

The visual documentation supports previous exploration updates and aligns with Falcon Gold's strategy to validate geophysical targets identified in earlier surveys, the company said.

Karim Rayani, Falcon Gold CEO, described the release of the images as a “significant step” for the company’s exploration program.

"They not only highlight the excellent quality of the core recovery but also provide tangible evidence of the promising geological features we are beginning to uncover at the Great Burnt copper-gold project,” Rayani said.

"It's still early days in our first phase of exploration however we believe what we are seeing is evidence of an extensive mineralized system."
