Polarean Imaging PLC's (AIM:POLX, OTC:PLLWF) capital markets day has reaffirmed Stifel’s confidence in its 'buy' recommendation, with the investment bank highlighting the company’s improved commercial strategy and strong clinical potential.
Stifel noted that the event reinforced the advantages of the company's Xenon MRI technology, which offers a detailed, non-invasive way to assess lung function.
Dr Laura Walkup of Cincinnati Children's Hospital presented compelling evidence for its use in detecting lung injuries in patients recovering from bone marrow transplants, stating that “Xenon MRI is just the ticket” for enhancing care, especially in children.
The company’s commercial strategy was another key focus, with Dr Alan Huang, Polarean’s vice president of global sales, outlining how a newly structured six-person sales team aims to drive market adoption.
While execution remains key, Stifel sees growing interest in the technology and believes Polarean is now better positioned to meet its $5–6m revenue target this year.
In early afternoon trading, the stock was flat at 1.21p.
