Cathay Pacific Airways (0293.HK) reported a 1% increase in full-year profit, reaching HK$9.89 billion (AU$2 billion) for the year ending December 31, up from HK$9.79 billion a year earlier.
The rise was driven by higher passenger volumes and lower fuel costs, partially offset by normalising passenger yields in the second half. The airline declared a second interim dividend of HK$0.49 per share.
