Synchronoss Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:SNCR) earlier this week announced the launch of Capsyl Cloud at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona.
The company said Capsyl Cloud is designed to streamline the onboarding process for telecom providers looking to offer branded cloud storage services. Unlike Synchronoss’ traditional white-label cloud solutions, which require extensive integration with carrier networks, Capsyl Cloud allows for faster deployment while maintaining AI-powered features.
Synchronoss highlighted that Capsyl Cloud utilizes machine learning to present users with curated memories based on past engagement. Additionally, its Genius feature allows users to transform old images into 3D or anime-style versions—a feature that has gained traction in Japan.
The company also announced Telkomsel, Indonesia’s largest mobile network operator, as its first major Capsyl Cloud client. With over 150 million subscribers, Telkomsel is promoting the service via TikTok and Facebook. Synchronoss emphasized that the digital nature of this launch aligns with modern consumer trends.
At MWC 2025, Synchronoss said it is focused on driving subscriber growth for existing customers and exploring new revenue opportunities with potential partners. It stressed that cloud-based services enhance customer retention by providing a secure and integrated digital content storage solution.
The company is positioning Capsyl Cloud as an accessible cloud solution for telecom providers of all sizes.
