Laramide Resources Ltd (OTCQX:LMRXF)(TSX:LAM) CEO Marc Henderson talked with Proactive's Angela Harmantas from the PDAC conference in Toronto about the company’s uranium projects and the broader market outlook.
Henderson highlighted the company’s **Westmoreland project in Australia**, which now holds an updated resource estimate of **65 million pounds of uranium**, positioning it as a potential top-ten global uranium mine. The company is awaiting approval from the **Queensland government** to advance development.
He also discussed Laramide’s **U.S. uranium assets**, including projects in **New Mexico and Utah**, along with a **royalty interest** in an ISR uranium project. Henderson noted that demand for uranium continues to grow, driven by **nuclear energy expansion and data center power needs**.
“The industry outlook is as good as it’s ever been,” Henderson stated, emphasizing the supply-demand imbalance and the strong term market price for uranium.
