Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) told investors it has now spudded the Jackson-4 well at its Galactica helium project in Colorado.
It will be drilled down to the Upper Lyons Formation, where wireline logging and flow testing will determine production potential.
Once completed, Jackson-4 is expected to be tied into production facilities.
It follows the drilling and initial testing of the Jackson-31 well, which confirmed free gas in the Upper Lyons Sandstone Formation. The well flowed gas naturally, and further testing is planned.
The Galactica project is part of the Galactica/Pegasus development, where four existing wells have produced between 125 thousand and 412 thousand cubic feet per day (Mcfd) of helium-rich gas, with helium concentrations ranging from 2.0% to 6.1%.
Engineering work continues on CO₂ removal, purification, and helium processing via an IACX helium recovery unit.
