Manganese X Energy Corp (OTCQB:MNXXF)(TSXV:MN) CEO Martin Kepman talked with Proactive's Angela Harmantas from the PDAC conference in Toronto about the company’s latest developments, including a strategic investment and advancements at its Battery Hill project.
Kepman highlighted a recent investment by a strategic investor, which has brought increased interest in the company from both North American and European markets. He noted that this investment has provided Manganese X with significant momentum as it moves into its pre-feasibility study, a critical step toward production. "With his insertion of the money and his involvement in our company, it's really giving us a great chance to go in now and start our pre-feasibility—one more step towards production," Kepman said.
The discussion also covered Manganese X’s patent-pending extraction technology, which allows the company to produce high-purity manganese sulfate. Kepman emphasized that no other company, including those in China, has successfully converted low-grade manganese carbonate into high-purity manganese sulfate as efficiently as Manganese X has demonstrated in its pilot project.
Additionally, he provided an update on the company’s memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a Gigafactory in New York. The company is currently in a pre-qualification process, with its product undergoing battery cell testing.
