Silver One Resources Inc. continues to advance its Candelaria Project in Nevada and Phoenix Silver Project in Arizona, positioning itself for a strong year ahead. Speaking with Proactive's Angela Harmantas at the PDAC conference in Toronto, CEO Greg Crowe provided key updates on the company’s progress and upcoming milestones.
At Candelaria, a historically rich silver district dating back to 1864, Silver One has secured 100% ownership with no royalties after acquiring the project from Silver Standard. An updated resource estimate is expected in the coming months, incorporating results from past drilling and metallurgical studies. Crowe highlighted significant progress in the heap leach recovery program, where silver recoveries have improved from 29% to 65% using proprietary extraction techniques developed by Extract and Capital.
At the Phoenix Silver Project, Crowe showcased high-grade silver samples, including a 417-pound silver fragment containing approximately 70% pure silver. Located near major copper deposits controlled by Freeport-McMoRan and BHP, the project has yielded sampling results with copper values exceeding 7.7%. Crowe noted growing interest from both major and junior mining companies exploring potential partnerships.
Additionally, Silver One is evaluating a third early-stage project in Nevada, which remains highly prospective. With multiple developments in progress, including resource expansion, metallurgical advancements, and potential industry partnerships, the company is poised for significant growth in 2025.
