Olympio Metals Ltd is strengthening its presence in the Cadillac Break gold region, a historically prolific gold-producing area with over 100 million ounces mined to date. Speaking with Proactive's Angela Harmantas at the PDAC conference in Toronto, Managing Director Sean Delaney shared updates on the company’s latest projects and exploration progress.
A key highlight is the Blue Sky Project, a newly acquired asset with high-grade gold mineralization. Recent drilling returned 9 meters at nearly 17g/t gold, reinforcing the project's potential. Strategically positioned between multi-million-ounce deposits, Blue Sky represents a promising exploration target for further expansion.
In addition to gold, Olympio is advancing its copper-gold project further west along the Cadillac Break. The area features historic mining activity and copper grades reaching up to 13-14%, indicating strong potential. Drilling is set to commence in the coming weeks as the company looks to unlock further value.
Delaney also noted a shift in market sentiment at PDAC 2025, emphasizing growing investor interest in quality gold projects. “The sentiment is coming back, and even in the Australian market, good gold results are being well received,” he stated.
With promising assets, strong drill results, and renewed investor interest, Olympio Metals is well-positioned for growth in one of the world's most prolific gold belts.
