Latin Metals Inc. (OTCQB:LMSQF)(TSXV:LMS) Director of Corporate Communications Elyssia Patterson talked with Proactive's Angela Harmantas at the PDAC conference in Toronto about the company's copper and gold exploration strategy.
Patterson highlighted Latin Metals’ focus as a prospect generator, operating in Peru and Argentina with 18 different projects at various stages of exploration. The company secures projects through staking, conducts initial exploration, and seeks partners to advance drilling while retaining a royalty interest.
Currently, Latin Metals has partnerships with Machiko Resources and IGO Gold, with hopes for drilling activity to commence this year. Patterson noted that "for the last two years we've been going out trying to get our projects optioned out. But in the last few months, majors are coming to us, which signals a shift in the market."
Looking ahead, Latin Metals aims to secure additional permits and advance discussions with potential partners. Investors are encouraged to watch for updates as the company progresses.
