Rokmaster Resources Corp (OTCQB:RKMSF) (TSXV:RKR) Vice President of Exploration, Connor Malek, talked with Proactive's Angela Harmantas at the PDAC conference about the company’s latest developments. The flagship Nechako Project in north-central British Columbia remains a primary focus, surrounded by world-class deposits. Malek highlighted the company’s efforts to explore Cretaceous-age mineralization zones, particularly high-grade silver.
Discussing the challenges of the terrain, Malek noted that while the region presents geological complexities, its proximity to major discoveries like the Blackwater deposit enhances its potential. The company recently secured an option on the project and aims to advance exploration towards a significant discovery.
Beyond Nechako, Rokmaster has been working on its long-standing project in southeastern British Columbia. The Duncan Lake lead-zinc property has shown potential for Mississippi Valley-type and Irish-type mineralization. Malek emphasized ongoing exploration efforts to expand resource potential.
On the regulatory front, Malek acknowledged the challenges of permitting in British Columbia but noted some improvements in approval timelines. Rokmaster recently secured permits for its Fox Coconut project in under five months, a notable achievement.
