Shell PLC (LSE:SHEL, NYSE:SHEL) said it is overhauling its leadership structure with integrated gas and upstream director Zoë Yujnovich stepping down from its executive committee.
She is being replaced on the committee by Cederic Cremers, the newly titled president of the integrated gas division, and Peter Costello, president of the upstream arm.
The reshuffle is part of a broader effort to streamline senior management, with individual presidents now leading Shell’s main business divisions.
CEO Wael Sawan said the past two years had seen a focus on managing assets and simplifying the business. "Now is the right time to begin the next phase of our transformation."
The restructuring will not impact Shell’s financial reporting segments.
In the first half of 2026, Sawan said technical divisions will also be integrated into business lines, which will bring technical capabilities "closer to where we generate value".
