Terra Metals hits more broad, high-grade titanium at Dante Project’s Reef 1 North target

Extensional drilling by Terra Metals Ltd has confirmed the presence of high-grade titanium, copper, vanadium and platinum group metals (PGM) at Reef 1 North target of the Dante Project in Western Australia.

Of particular note was the evidence of extensive, broad intersections of titanium mineralisation within the hanging wall of Reef 1 North, with mineralisation now outlined from surface over a 4.2-kilometre strike.

The assays from this round of drilling peaked at 23.6% titanium, 1.72 g/t PGM (platinum, palladium and gold), 0.38% copper and 1.08% vanadium.

Strong consistency and grades

“These extensional drilling results confirm the consistency and scale of high-grade titanium, copper, PGMs and vanadium mineralisation from surface at Reef 1 North, as well as confirming thick titanium mineralisation throughout the hanging wall at Reef 1 North,” Terra Metals managing director and CEO Thomas Line said.

“We now eagerly await the remaining drill holes from drill testing of new zones at Reef 2.”

Assays are still pending from a further 13 drill holes testing the new infill zones at Reef 2.

Additionally, Terra drilled a diamond drill hole supported by an Exploration Incentive Scheme co-funding grant to test the interpreted contact between the mineralised layers of the Cronus intrusion and the older Jameson Layered Intrusion which contains the Dante Reefs.

The drill hole revealed 407.7 metres of mafic taxite and pegmatite, unlike any rock formation seen on the project to date.

With several PGM results up to 12 metres at 0.26 g/t PGE3 from 221 metres, Terra intends to follow up with further shallow drilling to fully test the target.
