Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF) Jackson-31 well in Colorado has been completed, flowing gas.
It was drilled down to a total depth of 1,210 feet, and, confirmed free gas in the Upper Lyons Sandstone Formation.
The well flowed gas naturally, indicating strong reservoir communication.
It encountered a 57-foot gas-saturated section in the Upper Lyons Sandstone Formation.
The wellhead configuration is currently being finalised, and further testing will follow.
Meanwhile, gas samples were collected and sent to a lab for helium and CO2 concentration analysis.
“To have encountered free gas in the Upper Lyons Sandstone Formation of Jackson-31 is a very positive start indeed and we look forward to the well test results and completion as we advance towards helium production," chief executive Lorna Blaisse said in a statement.
The drill rig will now move to the next location, to drill the Jackson-4 well.
