Bunzl PLC investors will be awaiting to hear how the plastics distributables group is faring in full-year figures on Monday, March 3, after its last update brought caution over deflation.
Profitability was said to be impacted over 2024 due to “more persistent” deflation “than previously anticipated,” Bunzl said last time out in December.
Revenue was guided to face a small decline on an underlying basis in the meantime, despite volume growth over the third and fourth quarters.
Shares had taken a beating at the time, even as Bunzl looked to soften the blow with news of a further £200 million buyback over the course of 2025.
Attention will be on any additional commentary around the impact of falling prices as a result, alongside its outlook after a “robust” year ahead had been signalled.
