NEXE Innovations Inc (TSX-V:NEXE, OTC:NEXNF) has announced a new partnership with a North American distributor serving the retail, office coffee services (OCS), and hospitality industries.
This marks the fourth major partnership for NEXE in the last four months, the company noted.
The distributor, known for being one of the first to enter the single-serve coffee market after the K-Cup patent expired in 2013, has now chosen NEXE’s BPI-certified compostable coffee pods to support its sustainability efforts.
The initial order for over 150,000 pods spans six SKUs across three major brands.
This shipment will be distributed to locations across both Canada and the US, with plans for further product development and commercialization in the coming months.
"With decades of experience in the coffee industry and a diverse brand portfolio, our new partner brings invaluable expertise to this collaboration," NEXE Innovations president Ash Guglani said in a statement.
"We believe that partnering with an established leader in the single-serve coffee industry highlights the demand for our BPI-certified compostable coffee pod and reflects the growth trajectory of our business.
"This strategic relationship is expected to support our efforts to strengthen our position in the sustainable coffee market."
