RISERS
Reach4Entertainment Enterprises (LON:R4E), up 38.2%. The media and entertainment marketing company tried the old dodge on Monday of putting out a profit warning long after the market had closed, and was rewarded with the traditional market response of a mass sell-off first thing the following morning. The shares have rebounded a little today, despite Webb Capital Asset Management disclosing it has reduced its stake below 3%.
Alba Mineral Resources (LON:ALBA), up 36.4%. Alba has been informed by Horse Hill Developments Ltd (HHDL) that the exploration stage of the Horse Hill (HH) PEDL137 licence, in which Alba has a net attributable interest of 6.5%, has been extended for a further year by the Oil & Gas Authority.
PeerTV (LON:PTV), up 26.7%. The TV over the Internet specialist has entered into a business partnership with a major streaming media platform service provider. The unnamed partner has chosen PeerTV's set top box (STB) as its preferred STB unit.
FALLERS
Pipehawk (LON:PIP), down 16.0%. Non-executive director Randal MacDonnell has sold 100,000 shares in the company, reducing his stake to 2.82%.
MX Oil (LON:MXO), down 14.6%. The oil and gas investment company said pre-qualification criteria have now been released by the National Hydrocarbons Commission for mature conventional fields in Mexico. Stefan Olivier, MX's CEO, said the criteria means the company does not need to bring in a production partner or dilute existing shareholders' equity to meet any capital criteria.
Produce Investments (LON:PIL), down 12.7%. One of the company's subsidiaries, Swancote Foods, has experienced a potential contamination issue relating to the possible identification of traces of metal being found in one of its products. Affected customers have been made aware of the issue and this has resulted in the recall of a number of potato salad and ready meal products.

RISERS
Mondi (LON:MNDI), up 10.3%. The AGM statement went down well, even if parts of the transcript did sound like excerpts from the Eurovision Song Contest. First quarter underlying operating profit of €236mlnwas 29% above the comparable prior year period (€183mln), on volume growth and lower input costs across most of the European businesses, good contributions from capital projects and acquisitions, and higher selling prices in Russia and South Africa.
Barratt Developments (LON:BDEV), up 4.2%. Market conditions have remained strong throughout the period with high levels of demand for new build homes across the country, the company said in its interim management statement, covering its performance year-to-date.
Persimmon (LON:PSN) and Bovis Homes (LON:BVS), both up 3.6%. The house builders rise in sympathy with Barratt Developments.
FALLERS
Compass Group (LON:CPG), down 3.0%. The catering company said it delivered half-year results but the market begged to differ. Revenue rose 5.7% on an underlying basis, and profit by tax advanced 4.9%; the interim divi has been hiked by 11.4%.
Admiral Group (LON:ADM), down 1.7%. Henry Engelhardt has decided to step down from his role as CEO in one year's time. He will be replaced by co-founder and current Admiral chief operating officer, David Stevens.
Anglo American (LON:AAL), down 0.8%. Aussie firm Macquarie Research has switched from its 'out-perform' rating for the mining giant to a neutral position.
The FTSE 350 was up 21 at 3,843.

SABMiller (LON:SAB), up 1.66% after the brewer reported final results that beat analysts’ expectations but it said headwinds exist for the year ahead. The world's second biggest brewer announced operating earnings of US$6.37bn for the year to end March.
In FTSE250, polymer specialist Victrex (LON:VCT) added 2.18% after it was upgraded by City broker Numis to 'add' and got an 'outperform' rating from Credit Suisse as it began coverage on the stock.
Barratt Developments (LON:BDEV) added 2.02% after the house builder said demand for new build homes was holding up as it reported a double digit growth in sales. The group posted an 18% rise in total forward sales to £2.6bn in the 19 weeks to May 10.
FALLERS
Compass Group, the caterer was top loser on Footsie, falling 3.78%, despite reporting a 5.7%rise in reported half-year revenue to £8.9bn and a 12.3% rise in EPS to 27.7p. The interim divi was declared at 9.8p - 11.4% up.
Car insurer Admiral (LON:ADM) dropped 1.9% as it emerged chief executive Henry Engelhard will step down in a year's time to be replaced by chief operating officer David Stevens. Engelhard has been at the helm of Admiral since it was created in 1991.
Aurasian Minerals (LON:AUM) dropped 13.64% as the group fell back to earth after a near 75% rise yesterday. On Tuesday, it unveiled a new joint venture in Laos with investment company Sahamit Phattana and the new group will undertake exploration in the country.
