CleanTech Lithium sets ASX listing timeline

CleanTech Lithium PLC (AIM:CTL, OTCQX:CTLHF) expects to list on the Australian Securities Exchange in April, with completion in May.

The process has taken longer than planned, but the Chile-focused company believes the delay will strengthen its case with Australian investors.

By the end of March, it expects an update on whether its Laguna Verde project will be eligible for the fast-track/streamlined process. Additionally, CleanTech is wrapping up its pre-feasibility study.

At the same time, it said it would include its audited 2024 financial results in the prospectus before publication. These accounts are being fast-tracked and should be released by the end of March, about three months earlier than planned.

The prospectus will also feature results from the pre-feasibility study, which is progressing well and is expected to be published in April.

In the same announcement, investors were told that Tony Esplin, who was set to take over as CEO, has decided not to take up the role for personal reasons.

His appointment was conditional on the ASX listing, which is now scheduled for May. Executive chairman Steve Kesler will stay on as interim CEO while the board looks for a new candidate to lead the company into its next phase of growth.
