Sidney Resources expands footprint in Idaho

Sidney Resources Corporation (OTC:SDRC) announced that it has acquired assets from Unity GoldSilver Mines, adding 168 acres of private patented mining claims, 1,477 acres of unpatented claims, and existing mining infrastructure in the Warren Mining District of Idaho.

The company said the acquired properties include an estimated 175,000 to 200,000 tons of mine spoils containing gold, silver, and platinum group metals (PGMs), with historical assays reporting up to 14 ounces per ton of gold and 35 ounces per ton of silver.

Additionally, the acquisition encompasses multiple vein systems, including the Little Giant Mine, Unity Mine, and Charity Mine.

The Little Giant vein extends approximately 9,000 feet from Sidney Resources’ existing holdings into the newly acquired land, offering exploration and production continuity.

The 168 acres of private patented claims are expected to streamline permitting and operational timelines, while the unpatented claims increase Sidney Resources’ control over the Warren Valley, the company said.

The existing infrastructure on the Unity Mining properties could also reduce development costs and support future expansion.

"This acquisition represents a transformative leap for Sidney Resources Corporation," Sidney Resources CEO Sean-Rae Zalewski said in a statement.

"Unity Mining's assets not only complement our existing claims but also propel us toward realizing the full potential of the Warren Mining District. The benefits of private land ownership, rich vein systems, and mine spoils resources position us for unmatched growth and shareholder value creation."

Dan Hally, Sidney Resources’ chief operations officer, added that the acquisition brings the company’s holdings to 3,667 acres of patented mineral claims and 208 acres of private property in the Warren Mining District.

“We now own 14 of the 18 well-known historic mines in the Warren District and this includes five mill sites and an additional placer claim. I look forward to harnessing these exceptional assets to drive long-term value for our stakeholders,” Hally said.

Shares of Sidney Resources were up 3% on Monday morning following the news.
