Aftermath Silver CEO discusses TSX Venture 50 recognition - ICYMI

Aftermath Silver Ltd (TSX-V:AAG, OTCQX:AAGFF) CEO Ralph Rushton talked with Proactive about the company’s recent recognition on the TSX Venture 50 for 2024, where it ranked 32nd.

Rushton also provided an update on the company’s latest drill program, noting that another set of drill results is expected in the coming weeks.

Proactive: Welcome back inside our Proactive newsroom. Joining me now is Ralph Rushton, the CEO of Aftermath Silver. Ralph, good to see you again. How are you?

Ralph Rushton: I'm good, thanks. I'm looking at all the red in the markets today. It’s a little depressing, but it's a good day.

You've got good news from your company—you’ve been named to the TSX Venture 50 for 2024. Maybe I'll let you explain what this list is.

It’s a ranking of the top 50 performing companies on the TSX Venture Exchange for 2024. They use three factors—share price appreciation, market cap appreciation, and trading volumes. We’ve traded very well over the last year. Our share price was up 63%, so we made it to number 32 on the list.

A lot of the companies on this list are in mining. After two or three tough years, getting recognized like this must be positive for the company.

It is. It reflects the hard work our team has put in over the last 12 months—delivering solid technical news and showing that we’re advancing the project. On the marketing side, my colleague Mike Williams and I have done a lot of outreach, meeting with investors and explaining our plans. I think that’s driven the trading volumes.

Let’s talk about what’s ahead. 2025 looks like a pivotal year for the company.

It is. We’re finishing up a drill program now, and we have more drill results coming. We expect at least one more release in the next couple of weeks. These results will feed into a new resource estimate, which is driving a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) that’s currently underway. We’re targeting delivery in the third quarter, but it depends on the engineering teams’ timelines. They’re all very busy, so we’re doing what we can.
