Falcon Gold appoints veteran geologist to lead Great Burnt project

Falcon Gold Corp (TSX-V:FG, OTC:FGLDF) has appointed veteran geologist Victor French to oversee its Great Burnt copper-gold project in central Newfoundland, the company said on Friday.

French, who has over 50 years of experience in mineral exploration and mining operations, will lead efforts to enhance geological modeling, optimize drilling strategies, and accelerate resource expansion at the project, Falcon Gold said in a statement.

"We are very pleased to welcome Victor French to our team," CEO Karim Rayani said.

"His unparalleled expertise in Newfoundland's geology and his proven track record in mineral exploration will be invaluable as we advance the Great Burnt project."

French, a registered professional geoscientist and a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, has held senior managerial roles in open-pit mining and worked as an exploration consultant focusing on gold and silver projects. He also serves as the second vice president and director at large for Newfoundland at the Newfoundland & Labrador Prospectors Association.

Falcon Gold said it plans to resume drilling activities and conduct further geological analyses under French's leadership.
