Greatland Gold, Challenger Energy, Georgina Energy, ACG Metals, KEFI Gold and Copper - Resources Sector Week in Review

Greatland Gold, Challenger Energy, Georgina Energy, ACG Metals, KEFI Gold and Copper - Resources Sector Week in Review

Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) has shared positive exploration results from its West Dome underground project at the Telfer gold-copper operation in Western Australia. CEO Shaun Day says high-grade gold intercepts, including over 19 grams per tonne, could help extend the mine's life using existing infrastructure.

Challenger Energy Group PLC (AIM:CEG, OTC:BSHPF) is strengthening its focus on offshore exploration in Uruguay after selling its Trinidad and Tobago operations. The deal with Predator Oil & Gas includes a potential $2 million performance bonus, and Challenger is aiming to secure a farm-in partner for its OFF-3 block in Uruguay this year following last year's successful farm-out of OFF-1 to Chevron.

Georgina Energy PLC (LSE:GEX) is close to completing its purchase of the Mt Winter permit in Australia's Northern Territory. CEO Anthony Hamilton says gaining 100% control gives the company complete autonomy, with drilling approval next on the agenda.

ACG Metals (LSE:ACG, OTC:ACGAF) is on track to start producing copper at its Gediktepe mine in early 2026. CEO Artem Volynets highlighted a strong 2024, raising $200 million in debt to fund the sulphide expansion and complete the Gediktepe acquisition.

KEFI Gold and Copper PLC (AIM:KEFI, OTC:KFFLF) has announced a big boost in resources at its Hawiah project in Saudi Arabia, now at 3 million ounces of gold equivalent. Executive chairman Harry Anagnostaras-Adams says there's potential to double that with new exploration licenses.
