EnWave Corp (TSX-V:ENW, OTC:NWVCF) announced that it has expanded its partnership with Sprouted Proteins SAC of Peru with an equipment purchase agreement and a license amendment.
The updated deal builds on an initial royalty-bearing license signed in February 2024 and it grants Sprouted Proteins exclusive rights to produce specific starch-based snacks and instant soup mixes in Peru.
Additionally, Sprouted Proteins has purchased a 10kW REV machine and is leasing a second 10kW unit to accelerate commercial production.
The amendment also sets annual minimum exclusivity royalty payments payable to EnWave.
To maintain its exclusive rights, Sprouted Proteins must acquire a large-scale REV machine by the end of Septmember 2025.
EnWave develops and commercializes vacuum microwave dehydration technology, providing drying solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, and cannabis industries.
