Through its sales and distribution arm, NexusBioAg, MustGrow will now offer Adjuvants Plus products to Canadian farmers.
Proactive: Welcome back inside our Proactive newsroom. Joining me now is Corey Giasson, the Chief Executive Officer for MustGrow Biologics Corp. Corey, it's good to have you back again. How are you?
Corey Giasson: I'm good.
Good to hear. So, big news out from the company today—announcing a five-year agreement that adds new products to your portfolio. Tell me about how this deal will work.
We're excited to sign a five-year exclusive distribution agreement with Adjuvants Plus in Canada. Through our sales and distribution division, NexusBioAg, we will be selling Adjuvants Plus products directly to farmers.
At the end of 2023, we acquired NexusBioAg, a sales and distribution company with a strong product base. Adding Adjuvants Plus products will further expand that lineup, which is exciting for both MustGrow and Nexus.
Was this something you saw as a gap in your product line, or was it more about enhancing your offerings?
I wouldn't say there was a gap. Nexus already had a great product lineup, but we always look for new, innovative products. Adjuvants Plus brings in unique offerings that enhance what we already have.
For the past two years, Nexus has been working with the Adjuvants Plus product line, showing farmers and retailers in Canada how it works. Now that we have access to it, we can sell it directly, which is exciting. Our goal is to keep expanding and improving our product lineup. This is just the beginning.
Your news release mentions two products in particular—EndoFine and EndoGuard. Can you talk about why these are important and how they fit into Canada’s agricultural market?
Yes, our Nexus sales team is focused on broad-acre crops. Farmers in Canada need products that enhance yields and protect their investments in the field. EndoFine and EndoGuard fit perfectly into that strategy.
These products offer biological and regenerative agriculture solutions that help maximize yields while protecting soil for future use. Given the expected growth in canola and wheat over the next three to five years, we see strong demand for these solutions.
MustGrow has been expanding rapidly. How does this move position the company for future growth?
We're still focused on our core technologies, including selling TerraSante in the US and working with Bayer on our mustard-based products.
At the same time, acquiring Nexus and adding the Adjuvants Plus product line strengthens our position. Once we receive regulatory approval for TerraMG in Canada, we’ll be able to sell it alongside these other products, creating a highly synergistic portfolio.
Nexus follows an asset-light, high-growth model, which aligns with our strategy. We see strong growth opportunities in this space without needing to acquire or own every technology ourselves.
