RISERS
African Copper (LON:ACU), up 66.7%. The company, which recently announced plans to go private, issued a correction to an earlier statement that stated it would remain subject to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers once its listing on AIM has been cancelled.
Highlands Natural Resources (LON:HNR), up 13.5%. The company, which listed in March, said discussions regarding the acquisition of the company's first production asset in the US oil and gas sector are advanced, and that it is to acquire a 75% stake in US-based Diversion Technologies’ current patent applications for a new diverter well simulation technology.
W Resources (LON:WRES), up 10.9%. The tungsten, copper and gold explorer has completed the scout diamond drilling programme at the CAA / Portalegre gold and base metal exploration licence in Portugal, with encouraging results from the five holes drilled.
FALLERS
Surgical Innovations (LON:SUN), down 11.0%. The company made an underlying loss of £52,000 in 2014 and a reported loss before tax of £9.83mln, after taking £8mln of non-cash impairment charges.
easyJet (LON:EZJ), down 8.1%. The low-cost airline made a rare first half profit but warned an early Easter would likely reduce its third quarter revenue by four percentage points.
Fox Marble (LON:FOX), down 7.6%, The shares have eased 1.625p to 19.75p after the Kosovian quarry operator raised £2mln through a share placing at 20p a pop to pay off an outstanding convertible loan and to buy more processing equipment.
