Rome Resources says its drill campaign continues uninterrupted

Rome Resources Plc (AIM:RMR) updated on its exploration work at the Bisie North project in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where drilling operations are continuing uninterrupted.

Work continues despite ongoing security issues in the wider region, with crews being helicoptered in.

Rome added that it has added enhanced security measures to ensure the safety of personnel and contractors. And, it has relocated its logistical base for personnel and equipment transfers to Kisangani, approximately 200km northwest of Bisie North.

“This proactive move ensures continued operational stability while maintaining a safe distance from the unrest along the Rwandan border,” the company said in a statement.

“The company remains focused on advancing exploration activities and expects to announce further assay results from Bisie North within the next 10 days, specifically results from the northernmost MADD018 drill hole at Mont Agoma where over 100m of visible copper was identified.”
