Bit Digital secures AI colocation deal through HPC business WhiteFiber

Bit Digital Inc (NASDAQ:BTBT) announced it has signed a colocation agreement with a major AI hardware company through its rebranded high-performance computing (HPC) division WhiteFiber.

The five-year contract covers 5 MW of built-to-suit data center infrastructure and will be fulfilled at a data center within WhiteFiber’s Enovum Data Centers pipeline. The facility location will be disclosed at a later date.

The company said the contract is expected to take effect in mid-2025.

Sam Tabar, Bit Digital's CEO, expressed excitement about the partnership.

"This agreement underscores their confidence in our ability to deliver sophisticated, high-performance colocation solutions tailored for next-generation AI workloads,” Tabar said.

“We are excited to support this client's unique computing needs with our expertly designed data center infrastructure, delivering the reliability and scalability essential for AI innovation."

Additionally, Bit Digital said it earned approximately $4.9 million in HPC revenue during January.

The company’s treasury holdings stood at $170.3 million in Bitcoin (BTC)-equivalent assets, comprised of 768.7 BTC and 27,689.6 Ethereum (ETH).

Total liquidity, which includes the fair market value of digital assets, reached approximately $244.6 million.

At its Tier-3 Enovum Data Center, Bit Digital had 14 colocation customers generating revenue, contributing approximately $522,900 in January.

The company’s GPU Cloud segment achieved revenue of $4.4 million, with 2,144 GPUs actively deployed.

A new agreement for 464 Nvidia B200 GPUs is expected to generate $15 million in annualized revenue, with a two-month prepayment required.

In digital asset production, Bit Digital mined 28.7 BTC, down 11.4% from the previous month due to hosting changes and miner redeployments. As such, the company’s active hash rate declined to 1.6 EH/s.

Staked ETH holdings reached 21,568, generating a 3.6% annual percentage yield (APY) and 65.8 ETH in rewards.

Further, as of January 1, Bit Digital transitioned to domestic issuer status under US securities regulations.
