Shein reportedly scraps warehouse plans amid UK listing uncertainty

Shein Group has abandoned plans to open a UK warehouse as doubts mount over its potential £50 billion London stock market listing, according to a report carried by the Daily Telegraph.

The fast fashion giant had been exploring sites in the Midlands, including Derby and Coventry, but has now halted the search.

The decision comes amid growing scrutiny of Shein’s business model in the EU and US and concerns from UK politicians over its supply chain transparency. Insiders say the warehouse plans were paused last year as part of a broader review of its European logistics needs.

A Shein spokesperson told the paper there is "no immediate need" for a UK warehouse. The company had been expected to list in London this year, but its plans remain uncertain.
