Riversgold Ltd has identified a large, 12-kilometre-long gold trend at the Tambourah Project in Western Australia by leveraging high-grade rock chip results of up to 101 g/t gold.
The company has highlighted several prospects along the length of the trend, dubbing them Logans Find, Lone Star, Hawkstone, Shaw Mullock and Trafalgar.
Exploration in the Tambourah Project region during summer is challenging due to heat and the wet season but now summer is ending, RGL intends to investigate the trend further.
Other samples have returned 47.5 g/t, 15.8 g/t, 10.6 g/t, 9.5 g/t, 8.8 g/t and 6.6 g/t gold.

Working to refine drill targets
“These gold results over this 12-kilometre strike really are quite exceptional for chip samples,” Riversgold chair David Lenigas said.
“Tambourah was originally acquired for its lithium potential in the northwest corner of the tenement but its gold potential is just becoming properly understood after the recent RGL work focusing on gold.
“The area has always been highly prospective for gold, with gold being discovered there in 1891, which resulted in a gold rush occurring in 1894 with over 400 men working in the area.
“RGL has taken hundreds of samples for gold last year and these have now been collated and summarised, and these gold results now clearly show a highly exciting corridor of high-grade gold from rock chips.
“Further rock-chip sampling is now being planned, and on-site work will help refine drill targets.
“We look forward to getting back on the ground at Tambourah as the summer months come to an end to start refining some drill targets for drilling this year.”
RGL says it will begin ground-based exploration efforts as soon as the summer heat ends.
