Lanthanein Resources Ltd has completed a round of diamond drilling at the Lady Grey Project in Western Australia, investigating a modelled moving loop electromagnetic (MLEM) conductor plate.
The plate is aligned with a geochemical gold anomaly at surface, as well as a regional structural zone the company believes will be favourable to hosting gold mineralisation.
LNR is confident the local geology is prospective for economical deposits of gold, being adjacent to the historical Bounty Gold Mine, which produced 1.3 million ounces of gold on Covalent Lithium’s Mount Holland mine site.
Drill testing of next target to begin shortly
“We are really excited to finally finish the diamond tails testing the modelled electromagnetic (EM) conductor plate under Line #6 which coincides with a 75 parts per billion (ppf) ultra fine fraction (UFF) soil gold anomaly,” Lanthanien Resource technical director Brian Thomas said.
“There have been a number of challenges to the drilling with the festive season break and more recently a bushfire on neighbouring ground interrupting the drilling.
“We are also pleased that DEMIRS have granted the program of works to enable drill testing of the much higher-ranking EM conductor plate under Line #1 which coincides with the 256-ppb gold UFF soil anomaly with the planning for the refurbing of the access tracks and old grid lines underway.”
LNR expects to begin drill testing the Line #1 conductor plate once the access tracks, drill line and drill pads and sumps are refurbished.
