Fevertree Drinks PLC has issued £71 million worth of shares to Molson Coors after the duo penned an agreement for its carbonated mixer brand to be produced, sold and distributed in the US.
The Canadian-American multinational will have a stake of 8.5% of the UK company after 10,856,628 ordinary shares were issued at a price of 654.2p each, a statement on Wednesday confirmed.
Fevertree's total number of shares was 127.62 million as a result, following admission to AIM on Wednesday.
Fevertree previously said that the proceeds would be used for a buyback upon unveiling the Molson Coors deal last week.
Under this, Molson Coors would take on sales, distribution and production of Fever-Tree drinks on an exclusive basis in the US.
Fevertree shares were down 1.8% at 726p on Wednesday.
