Gaming Realms hails strong finish to last year and encouraging start to 2025

Gaming Realms PLC (AIM:GMR, OTCQX:PSDMF) reported faster revenue and earnings growth in the second half of last year, as well as an encouraging start to trading in 2025.

Strong content licensing was the key in 2024, the maker of games for mobile devices announced in a trading update, leading to revenues coming in at around £28.5 million, up 22% on the previous year, while underlying profit (EBITDA) swelled 30% to roughly £13 million.

This was up from first-half revenue growth of 18% when EBITDA increased 21%, in line with market expectations.

Chief executive Mark Segal said the results “underline the continued appeal of our Slingo portfolio and other unique gaming content.”

The company said it had enjoyed growth across all major markets, launching its Slingo portfolio with 44 new partners globally over the course of the year, including in West Virginia, its fifth US iGaming market and 20th regulated market overall.

A license renewal with Scientific Games for the Slingo brand for five more years has contributed to the encouraging start to trading in 2025, the company said,

Demand for the Slingo portfolio continues, assisted by continued product innovation and partnerships to drive future growth.

Segal said: “Our success in entering new regulated markets, coupled with the addition of multiple new partners, has fuelled significant growth.

“We look forward to building on this momentum in 2025 as we broaden our market reach and further expand our innovative content portfolio."
