Zero Candida market could reach $2B by 2030, Moore Financial says

Zero Candida Ltd (TSX-V:ZCT), an Israeli FemTech medical device company, is tapping into a market that could exceed $2 billion by 2030, according to an analysis published by Moore Financial Consulting.

Zero Candida is developing an AI-driven, tampon-like device that uses therapeutic light to treat Candida infections, achieving a 99.999% success rate in proof-of-concept trials.

The report estimates a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.25% worldwide, with growth rates of 3.9% in North America and 4.2% in Europe.

The analysis highlights that up to 75% of women will experience at least one vaginal yeast infection in their lifetime, while nearly 8% of women globally suffer from recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC).

Moore Financial also noted that all women affected by recurrent VVC purchase a combination of over-the-counter and prescription antifungal treatments, typically including oral medications.

For non-recurrent VVC cases, 55.2% of affected women seek prescription antifungal treatment, 37% opt for over-the-counter solutions, 5.6% purchase both, and a small percentage do not seek treatment, according to the data.

Eli Ben Haroosh, founder and CEO of Zero Candida Technologies, said the findings align with the company’s projections.

“Moore’s market analysis matches our estimations. Zero Candida is a groundbreaking and game-changing company in the world of women’s medicine, and we look forward to being one of the leading companies offering an AI-driven, tampon-like device to help women suffering from VVC,” he said.
