Vortex Biotech Holdings, which is backed by EMV Capital (AIM:EMVC), has named Nigel Brooksby as non-executive chairman.
Brooksby, who has held senior positions at Sanofi, GSK, and Pfizer, joins the company as Vortex enters its next phase of growth.
Vortex – which has developed a liquid biopsy platform is that it provides results equivalent to more invasive diagnostics in oncology – expects to benefit from Brooksby’s deep understanding of the financial, operational, and strategic aspects of the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors, as well as his exceptional global network.
“Nigel’s appointment is a significant development,” Vortex managing director Paul Reeves said.
“His expertise in guiding companies from innovation to commercialisation in complex international markets positions us for rapid growth.
