U.S. Global Investors appoints Bobby Duncan to board of directors

U.S. Global Investors (NASDAQ:GROW) announced on Tuesday it has appointed veteran capital markets executive Bobby Duncan to its Board of Directors.

Duncan, who previously served in various leadership roles at the firm from 1985 to 2002, including CFO, COO, and CEO, brings decades of experience in marketing, finance, and advisory services.

His familiarity with the company’s operations and growth strategies, as well as his expertise in securities regulations, positions him as a valuable addition to the board, the company said.

“Bobby’s vast leadership experience and deep understanding of global markets make him an outstanding addition to our Board,” said Frank Holmes, CEO and chief investment officer.

Duncan’s career includes advisory roles with the Anthony Robbins Companies and academic contributions as a lecturer and adjunct professor. He also brings international business expertise from work across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America.

“I look forward to working with the Board and Frank again to propel the company and shareholder value upward with cutting edge investment products, which have been embedded in the company’s DNA from the time of its creation,” Duncan said in a statement.

U.S. Global Investors focuses on developing innovative investment solutions, including expanding its exchange-traded fund offerings.
